Import sales from news paper websites.
Many news papers have online listings that could be imported. Most of them are owned by just a few different companies so the format would be the same. A open form that we could cut and paste or add listing ourself would also help.

Offline Caching
For us Ipod Touch users, I would really like a feature for offline viewing...Perhaps an option to set cache limit, clear cache. I'm talking about saving the locations of the garage sales when the app closes, and seeing them once again when the app opens, even if there is no Wifi connections.

Support for manually adding addresses?
I'm not sure if iGarageSale already supports this (I'm in Australia, so I can't download it, as it's not available in the AU iTunes store) but I'd like to be able to add local garage sales manually from my local paper.

Create a pin color for visited garage sales, so that when the GPS tells the phone you've been there.
Let the GPS in the iPhone change it once the blue dot positions near the red dot. That way, you don't inadvertently wind up going back to the same sale.

Remove the delay of pulling craigslist ads for day ahead. I see them on craigslist but not igarage
Seems like I see garage sales for my area on craigslist for Saturday on Friday night but on igaragesale app not all of them show up till later on Saturday

One day only sales
Several Craigslist ads list garage sales that are held on both Saturday and Sunday; so, the same garage sale is open on both Saturday and Sunday. I would like the ability to search for sales that are ONLY on Sunday; meaning, if the garage sale was on Saturday and Sunday, I don't want to see it in my search results.

More colors for favs, and a color/icon for visited
I would like to make estate sales a specific color (they have old stuff), charity sales another color. maybe sales with goodies I want a third color, and visited sales a fourth color (or different icon alltogether). This would allow for better management on where we have been and where we are going. Love this app. Mom and I tag team with the ipad and iphone going at the same time.

More sales
We have a local site for our area called kingwoodyardsales.com, it is a similar setup and covers different areas of our city with affiliate links. Maybe ya'll could add these for our city and others.

Add support for sales from EstateSales.NET
EstateSales.NET lists sales all across the country. I'm the owner of the site, so we'd be happy to work with you. E-mail Micky at support@EstateSales.NET if you are interested. We have between 1,000 and 2,000 estate sales listed on the site each month.

Pennysaver
Include Pennysaver ads along with Craigslist... I am in central FL and most garage/estate sale ads go in the Pennysaver. I think your ap is the bomb and would like to use it exclusively!

Be able to add your own pins to the ones already there and see them with the rest of the sales
Would also be nice I'd you got your database
from other sources like the local online papers.5 votes -

Have you tried using the Browse capability? You can get back to Browse mode by clicking the icon with the eye in it. Is there anything lacking with Browse mode that Search has that you’d like to see?
